Revolt Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Revolt handles information when you use the Revolt website and the Revolt mobile applications for iOS and Android. It applies to Revolt’s consumer services, including charging-station discovery, maps, trip planning, garage, saved stations, check-ins, reports, connector-status checks, Premium, and referrals. It does not apply to Revolt’s internal administration tools.
Information We Collect
Account information. Your name, email address, other account details you choose to provide, email-verification status, and account identifiers. For email sign-in, Revolt stores a password hash rather than your plain password. When you use Google or Apple sign-in, Revolt receives the provider identifier and profile information needed to create or access your account.
Location and trip data. Your precise location when you grant permission, or locations you enter or select yourself. This may include search locations, map points, addresses, trip origins, destinations, waypoints, routes, selected vehicle, battery level, connector preferences, charging stops, and saved-trip information.
Vehicle and station activity. Vehicles added to your garage, estimated range, connector types, saved stations, station views, directions and app-link clicks, check-ins, ratings, comments, reports, photos, proposed stations, vehicle-model requests, and connector-status checks.
Premium and referral information. The selected offer, manual bank-transfer reference and status, Premium activation and expiry, usage limits, referral codes, referral relationships, and rewards. Revolt’s current manual bank-transfer flow does not collect payment-card details in the app.
Technical and analytics information. IP address, browser or device information, user-agent, platform, session and security events, service interactions, traffic source, referral source, and campaign information. Revolt may use cookies, browser storage, secure mobile storage, and application storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate service features.
How We Use Information
Revolt uses information to provide and personalize the service; create and secure accounts; show nearby stations and routes; save vehicles, stations, and trips; process Premium and referral activity; send verification, password-reset, purchase-status, and moderation messages; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; understand service usage; improve coverage, reliability, and user experience; and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the activity, processing is based on providing the service you request, your consent, Revolt’s legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or a legal obligation.
Location and Public Content
Location permission is optional. You can deny or disable it in your device settings and use manually entered or selected locations where available.
Some content may become public after submission or moderation, including ratings, comments, approved station information, and approved photos. Reports and supporting material may be shared with the relevant station operator, charging-network partner, or support team so the issue can be reviewed. Do not submit sensitive information or another person’s personal data unless it is necessary and lawful.
Third-Party Services
Revolt may use Google and Apple for sign-in; HERE for location search, geocoding, and routing; OpenStreetMap and map-tile providers for maps; ZeptoMail for service emails; hosting, database, storage, security, and monitoring providers; charging-network partners and station operators for station information and connector-status checks; and banks involved in manual transfers.
These providers receive only the information needed for their role and may process data under their own privacy terms. Some providers may process data outside Georgia.
Data Retention
Revolt keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect accounts, resolve disputes, maintain required records, and comply with law. Security, Premium, payment, referral, and moderated-content records may be kept longer when needed for those purposes. Aggregated or properly anonymized information may be retained for analytics. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until securely overwritten.
Account Deletion, Restoration, and Your Rights
You can use the Delete Account option in your Revolt account settings. The current deletion feature is reversible: access to the account is disabled and active sessions are revoked, but the account and related data remain stored so the account can be restored after identity verification. Your email address and connected Google or Apple identifiers remain reserved while the account is in this state.
To request permanent deletion or anonymization where applicable, contact partner@revolt.ge. You may also request access to your data, a copy, correction, restriction, deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Rights may be limited where Revolt must retain information for security, legal, accounting, dispute, or public-interest reasons.
Security
Revolt uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections, password hashing, access controls, protected token storage, session controls, rate limits, and restricted administrative access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Revolt is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information unlawfully, contact Revolt so the matter can be reviewed.
Changes to This Policy
Revolt may update this policy when the service, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published with a new “Last updated” date.
